Looks like we've got a similar goal. I hear ya' about the biomechanical issues loud and clear. I got flat feet, a righ leg about an inch shorter than the left and a squeaky left knee. Don't know how I'm gonna' pull it off, but if there's a way to do so, I'm gonna' find it. Here's hopin' that knee of yours gets better. You've got my vote of support.
